RSVP for August Saper Law Seminar

This month’s Seminar at Saper Law will feature two budding entrepreneurs setting out to create a couture hat business.
During the seminar, the business partners will “meet” with an attorney and an accountant to discuss issues pertaining to their start-up. Â Seminar attendees will get to “sit-in” on these meetings and ask questions relevant to their own business ventures.

Samsara Design is a wholesale accessories line focused on manufacturing high-end hats. Samsara’s two partners are Sara Czosnyka, lead designer and head creative director, and Stephanie Nedospial, sales and public relations representative and also its co-marketing director.
The first hour of the seminar will be led by Daliah Saper, Principal Attorney at Saper Law Offices, LLC. Â Daliah will discuss business entity formation, (LLC vs Corporation), as well as key provisions in an operating agreement or a shareholder agreement.
The second half of the seminar will be led by Kathy Garlow, a CPA and Partner at the accounting firm of Shepard Schwartz and Harris, LLP. Â Kathy will discuss taxation and bookkeeping issues.
