The Chicagoland Digital Photograph (CDP) Meetup Group is excited and proud to announce this new lecture series. Each session will be led by an industry professional who is capable of answering the many questions you may have.
In this first lecture, Chicago IP (intellectual property) attorney Daliah Saper will discuss various legal issues that face us as photographers in today’s world.
Topics will include:

- Do I need to register my images with the Copyright Office?
- When, and why, do I need a model release?
- What is the Illinois Right to Publicity Act (IRPA) and does it affect me?
- What are my legal rights for taking photographs in public?
