False Advertising

False advertising laws are designed to protect consumers so that no business may make false, misleading, or deceptive claims about a product’s price, quality or purpose. Specifically, the Lanham Act states that false advertising is “any advertising or promotion that misrepresents the nature, characteristics, qualities or geographic origin of goods, services or commercial activities” (15 U.S.C.A. § 1125(a)).

Saper Law can help you and your business walk the fine line between false and compliant advertising by providing in-depth advertising reviews for FTC compliance as well as compliance with various state and local consumer protection laws.
