Chris McElwain presents at the 9th Annual Entrepreneurship Conference hosted by Northwestern Law
Saper Law Associate ,Chris McElwain, spoke on a panel last weekend at the 9th Annual Entrepreneurship Law Conference, hosted by Northwestern University School of Law’s Entrepreneurship Law Center. The panel, titled “Legal Tips for Starting a Business,” discussed some of the most common legal pitfalls new businesses stumble into, from failing to have an agreement in place between the founding partners to neglecting the protection of their intellectual property, and fielded questions from members of Chicago’s thriving start-up community on how to make smart legal choices on a budget.
