Saper Law recently partnered with The Curio to host a sold-out panel discussion titled “How to Create a Successful Fashion Brand.” The panelists included fashion lawyer, Daliah Saper, fashion designer Azeeza Khan, and social media influencer, Amy Diala. The Curio’s Maggie Gillette, a fashion and lifestyle content creator, moderated the discussion.

At the forefront of the emerging Chicago fashion community, Azeeza has been recognized by WWD as Chicago’s “It Designer.” Her brand’s retail flagship along Chicago’s Magnificent Mile has been placed on the Forbes List as a “top destination” and she is the only local Chicago designer highlighted in Louis Vuitton’s Chicago City Guide. Celebrity icons such as Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and Sarah Jessica Parker have sought out Azeeza’s high-end garments for everything from bridal showers to international tours. Known for her bold color, voluminous silhouettes, and intricate hand embroidery, Azeeza has received glowing accolades from national and global press, including Elle, Paper Magazine, Glamour, and Vogue India. Brands like Nike, Jimmy Choo, and CB2 have partnered with her.

Popularly known as Amy Diala, Joseph is a fashion and beauty influencer. After graduating from college with a degree in marketing, Joseph launched her career in social media. She amassed over 200,000 followers in just one year, resulting in high-profile collaborations with brands such as Yves Saint Laurent and Coach.

All ticket sales proceeds benefit the Lynn Sage Breast Cancer Foundation in memory of Ceta Walters. Walter was one of Chicago’s preeminent fashion bloggers who focused on fashion and style through the lens of motherhood.
