Daliah Saper Speaks to Graduating Senior Class at New Trier Highschool
Daliah Saper recently had the honor of returning to her alma mater, New Trier High School, as a featured speaker for ‘TRIERx Talk: My Path to Purpose.’ The event serves as a platform to inspire graduating seniors as they transition into their next chapters.
Speaking to more than 800 students and faculty, Daliah shared a high-level overview of her path from New Trier to founding Saper Law Offices, emphasizing that her career has been anything but traditional. From working on cutting-edge legal issues involving AI, Revenge Porn, Trademarks, Copyrights, and Rights of Publicity to speaking at organizations ranging from NASA to South by Southwest, she highlighted how self-advocacy played a critical role in opening doors.
She also spoke about resilience and the importance of being willing to pivot. Rather than working her way up the law firm ladder, Daliah started her own practice—ultimately shaping the dynamic and unconventional career she leads today.
Throughout her talk, she pointed to the traits she developed at New Trier, such as initiative, curiosity, and perseverance, and encouraged students to embrace uncertainty rather than fear it.
She closed the talk with five simple tenets: advocate for yourself, stay adaptable, always be networking, give back, and don’t be afraid to create your own path.
