Meet Made to Thrill
Made to Thrill is an artist-owned brand rooted in the art, culture, and nostalgia of theme parks. Founded by a lifelong theme park enthusiast, the brand grew out of a simple frustration: after years of perusing gift shop after gift shop in search of merchandise that captured a genuine connection to a favorite ride or a cherished memory, the right product simply didn’t exist. So he made it himself.
The result was a collection of abstract, minimalist artwork, just retro enough to be awesome, celebrating the roller coasters and attractions that have defined so many people’s most treasured experiences. He posted the work to Instagram, and as it turned out, he was far from alone in feeling that way.
Ten years and hundreds of posters later, Made to Thrill’s artwork is now sold in the very parks he grew up visiting. Park collaborations include Cedar Point, Kings Island, Kings Dominion, Knott’s Berry Farm, Carowinds, Dorney Park, Holiday World, Canada’s Wonderland, Noah’s Ark Waterpark, Oaks Park, Six Flags Great America, Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Six Flags Over Texas, and Park City Utah for the 2034 Winter Olympics.
Beyond the art prints, Made to Thrill is also home to the Pull Yellow Strap® Keychain, a fan-favorite product inspired by the safety checks on theme park attractions and the “Remove Before Flight” tags on aircraft. A subtle nod that only fellow enthusiasts will recognize, it has been a beloved piece of the brand since its 2017 launch.
