Meet JumpStitch Studio

JumpStitch Studio is a full-service custom embroidery studio on Chicago’s North Side founded by Stephanie Hellard and Aibek Mamadzhanov, specializing in wool felt appliqué and custom embroidery. From an initial consultation to the final product, the studio handles every step of the process in-house, including embroidery digitization, samples, prototypes, and production.

One of JumpStitch Studio’s favorite parts of running its business is taking on complicated and challenging projects. By continually working with new materials, techniques, and designs, the studio continues to expand its knowledge and expertise while evolving alongside the embroidery industry.

JumpStitch Studio also brings its craft directly to events and businesses throughout Chicago with its live, on-site embroidery setup. Using a portable Tajima embroidery machine, the studio offers custom embroidery and patch application on the spot.
