Saper Law successfully secured a temporary restraining order for client Del Rey Mole (pictured right) in a trademark dispute against an infringing and inferior mole paste brand (left). Del Rey Mole creates delicious mole paste and chocolate sold online and at over 50 Chicagoland retail locations. Shop their products and learn more here. Saper Law has been representing indie record label, Vinyl for a Cause, since 2016. Vinyl's founders, Adam Victorn and Charlie Greengoss, created the record label based on the idea that music can be a driver for charitable good. Every limited edition release features two bands covering each other, on sides A and B of a 7 inch vinyl record. Long time Saper Law client Beyonav LLC – a cutting-edge, Chicago-based navigation technology company- announced its acquisition by Zenuity AB earlier this month. See the full press release here. Saper Law, which has represented Beyonav since it was formed in April 2009, assisted Beyonav in negotiating the sale of its assets to the Swedish-based company. The firm counseled Beyonav throughout the process, advising on the structure of the deal, drafting the appropriate documents, and ensuring that Beyonav’s interests were properly positioned for both now and in the future.
