Amazon vs. Google: A “Non-Compete” Competition
Shining a spotlight on non-compete agreements, Amazon is suing former Amazon employee (now Google Employee) Zoltan Szabadi for his alleged violation of his non-compete agreement with Amazon.  The lawsuit will be closely followed by the tech industry as Amazon and other large companies seek to ascertain the acceptable scope of limiting their employee's ability to work in the same industry with competing organizations. The Right to Wrigley Rooftop Views
The Chicago Cubs recently released a revised plan for Wrigley Field's “face-lift.” The renovation calls for new ad signs that would fully obstruct the view of the playing field from neighboring rooftop venues.  Needless to say, the rooftop owners are not happy. On Saturday, April 26, (from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. in room S404ab at McCormick Place) attorneys from Saper Law will participate in a panel discussion and unscripted Q&A session with the C2E2 audience.  Topics will include intellectual property, right of publicity, business organizations, and other legal and business issues that relate to the entertainment and comic book industries. On Friday, March 14, Daliah  Saper and Shyla Jones presented "Law 101 for the New Business Owner" at the Chicago Creative Expo hosted by the Chicago Cultural Center.
