Daliah Saper and Brandon Campillo to Speak at Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Annual Intellectual Property Seminar

On February 14, 2022, Daliah Saper and Brandon Campillo will be co-presenting at the Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers Section's annual intellectual property seminar. Their presentation is entitled Can CBD products be Trademarked? Everything you need to know about successfully registering your CBD product. In their presentation, Daliah and Brandon will discuss the trademark registration process for companies that offer marijuana related products and services, office actions that can be expected, tips on how to overcome them, and the legal status of CBD. Daliah Speaker to Speak at the North American Entertainment, Media, and IP Law Summit in Grand Cayman

The North American Entertainment Law Summit delivers a four day continuing legal education conference, focused on constantly evolving topics within the entertainment, sports, media, and intellectual property law fields. Daliah Saper Quoted in Ad Age Article about Trademark Dispute

Ad Age recently quoted Daliah Saper in its article about the legal ramifications of Toppers Pizza using Domino’s Pizza logo in its latest advertising: The Toppers Pizza ad reads: “Not Making Dough In-House? WHAT. THE. TRUCK.”  Toppers claims its pizza is superior to that of Domino's because it produces its own fresh dough daily. In response, Dominos sent Toppers a cease and desist letter threatening litigation if Toppers fails to stop producing and distributing the ads. Undaunted, Toppers maintains its advertisements are legal and has pushed back publicly using the dispute to bring further publicity to its business.
