Event Details

This Saper Law Seminar will pull the curtain back on music licensing and help you understand the legalities of using music in your restaurant, bar, or other establishment. (If you didn’t know this already, you need to pay to play music at your venue!.)

Saper Law has invited two BMI representatives to explain when a restaurant or venue needs a public performance license: Daniel B. Spears, VP of Industry Relations and Dylan Altman, BMI Songwriter. In addition, the session will focus on how copyright licensing fees are determined and where the money goes.

An established hit songwriter will also be on hand to discuss the role that restaurants, music venues and other businesses play in helping them make a living writing music.  Don’t miss this opportunity to gain a greater understanding of music licensing and how it impacts your business.
