On Thursday, September 25, CBS Chicago News interviewed media attorney Daliah Saper about the recent “rape list” posted by anonymous University of Chicago students. Dubbed the “Hyde Park List,” the post assigned sexual assault codes (such as “Code Red”) to current and former University of Chicago male students. As retaliation to this list, hackers (also anonymous) hacked into a University of Chicago student website and threatened to “rape harder” students (implicitly female) of University of Chicago’s Class of 2018.
Daliah Saper discusses with CBS News the legal responsibilities and liabilities of the list poster, the retaliatory hackers, and the University of Chicago.
