Meet Sarah Becan

Saper Law’s longtime client, Sarah Becan, is a comics artist, author, illustrator, and designer. With 24 years of illustration experience, Sarah has mastered the art of comic book cookbooks and graphic novels. Her most famous works include “Let’s make Dumplings!” and “Let’s make Ramen!”.

Sarah has been nominated twice for Ignatz awards, an award recognizing achievement in comics and cartooning. Her comic artwork has also earned her a Xeric Award and a Stumptown Trophy. Sarah has also published 7 graphic novels and books while simultaneously selling prints of her artwork as well as one-of-a-kind pieces.Most recently, Sarah illustrated original art for a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle for The Magic Puzzle Company with a “magical surprise at the end.”
