Daliah Saper to present at Chicago Bar Association regarding website liability under the CDA and DMCA

On October 18, Daliah Saper will be presenting to the  Chicago Bar Association’s Cyber Law and Data Privacy Committee on the differences between the Digital Millenium Copyright Act and Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.  The presentation will provide an overview of each Act, highlight recent case law implicating the two Acts,  and end with a policy discussion debating the blanket immunity provided to forum providers under the CDA.
