The Willis Report interviews Daliah Saper about Vine’s No Porn Policy

On March 7, 2014 Daliah Saper appeared on Fox Business Channel’s  “The Willis Report” to talk about Vine’s new terms of use policy regarding pornography. In the interview, Daliah discusses Twitter’s business strategy behind its new “no pornography” policy. She also explains how Twitter and Vine plan to distinguish between permissible “nudity” and prohibited “pornography.”  Among the types of nudity Vine allows under the new terms of use include: (1) nudity in a documentary context, (2) clothed sexually suggestive dancing, and (3) nudity that is not sexually provocative (including breastfeeding).  Determining what is and what is not a violation of this new policy now falls on the shoulders of Vine users flagging objectionable content and Vine itself under its appeals process.  Daliah highlights the advantages and disadvantages of this content- policing policy.
